Each person sees the world differently. Two people can see the same movie or attend the same event and come away with very different impressions. The same is true with the people you encounter in your business. You may feel naturally connected to someone, or may feel a bit reserved or disconnected from them. It’s all based on our individual perceptions. Elizabeth Hartigan, The Gratitude Girl, will offer a fantastic presentation about how your perception is affecting your business, whether you realize it or not.

Elizabeth’s journey into gratitude began 11 years ago when she learned that she had the signs and symptoms of cancer. What a pivotal moment in her life: she could either choose to focus on the pea-sized lump in her neck or focus my time and attention on all that WAS working. After going within, Elizabeth knew she had a lot of internal work to do, so she shifted her focus from fear to gratitude. A little over a month later, the lump vanished! What started out as the most frightening moment of her life became her greatest blessing. That moment of healing – in body and mind – led her to her purpose and passion: sharing with others the possibility of changing our thoughts and the immense power of gratitude.

Networking Event: INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING 101
It`s time to dust off your fedora and get into investigative reporter mode! This meeting is NETWORKING ONLY (no speaker), and we`ll each be interviewing one other attendee to learn about them and their business. Then, when it`s time for introductions, rather than introduce yourself, you will introduce the person you interviewed. The goal is to use your listening skills and ask probing questions that will help you tell everyone else the most important things about your interviewee and their business.

To kick things off, we’ll have a fun ice-breaker with prizes for the winners. Your admission includes a light buffet and nonalcoholic drinks (tax & tip included) and the opportunity to network with other like-minded business owners.
